A friend introduced me to leather working many years ago. When I first started, I told her, "I don't want to carve or do big projects, just stamp things." Well, that was then and this is now!
I started by ordering kits from the leather supply store and I saved all the patterns. I don't use kits anymore, I cut the vast majority of my projects from hides. When I say 'hand made', I mean it! Everything I do is by hand. From tracing the pattern onto the hide, to cutting it out, to carving it, to stitching it together! This means that every piece is unique. No two will ever be the same!!
I love what I do and I put that love into every piece I make! I spend my spare time in the craft room surrounded by my 'supervisors', two of our dogs, Kaner and Baxter, pictured at left.
In addition to the pieces you see in the store, I also do custom work and repairs. So, if you don't see something you like, if you see something you would like customized or if you have something that requires repair, please feel free to ask!
You can also follow projects from start to finish on my Facebook page. Just click on the Facebook link at the top of the homepage!
Thank you for visiting!!
